About these terms
These terms govern your use of kain.benamici.com, the website of Kain Fashion Incubator, operated by [REGISTERED ENTITY NAME] ([COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER]) of [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using the site
You may read, browse, and share the pages of this site freely. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, or use it for anything unlawful.
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we publish it as it is. Dates, venues, and programme details are announced in good faith and may change.
Applying to the programme
Applications are made through a Google Form linked from the Apply page, and are subject to the eligibility stated there: you must be Malaysian or based in Malaysia, and able to attend every physical workshop across the six months of the programme.
Applying is free and does not create any agreement between us. Selection is at the discretion of the selection panel, and its decisions are final. We do not give individual feedback on unsuccessful applications, and only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
The information and work you submit must be your own and must be accurate. Submitting work you do not have the right to submit, or misrepresenting your eligibility, is grounds for withdrawing an application or a place on the programme.
Your work stays yours
You keep full ownership of the intellectual property in everything you submit and in everything you create on the programme. Kain takes no equity in your label and no rights over your designs. Collections built during the programme remain yours to sell, show, and develop afterwards.
By applying, you give us permission to use the material you submit for the limited purpose of assessing your application. If you are selected, we will ask separately for permission to publish images of you and your work for programme announcements, press, and the showcase. That permission is asked for, not assumed, and you may set conditions on it.
Our content
The text, photographs, layout, and the Kain name and marks on this site belong to us or to our partners and contributors. You may quote and link to the site with attribution. Reproducing substantial parts of it, or using the Kain name or marks to suggest an association that does not exist, requires our written permission.
Newsletter
Joining the mailing list is voluntary and you may leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. We use the list for programme news only.
Links to other sites
The site links to services and organisations we do not control, including the Google Form used for applications and the sites of our partners and mentors. We are not responsible for their content or their practices, and their own terms apply when you use them.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, from reliance on information published on it, or from any interruption to it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date at the top. Changes that materially affect applicants will also be announced on the News page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
